DENALI CANsmart™ Controller GEN II - BMW R1200LC & R1250 Series

Use the flexibility and intelligence of your BMW motorcycle's electrical CAN-bus system to greatly simplify accessory installation with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart™ Controller GEN II.

The DENALI CANsmart™ controller offers plug-n-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories to enable dozens of customizable settings that can be controlled directly from the BMW "WonderWheel" or CANsmart™ Accessory Manager software.

The CANsmart's four circuits are pre-programmed to connect and operate independently two sets of DENALI lights, a SoundBomb horn and our B6 auxiliary brake light.

Gen II - More features, more power, more versatility
Unlike the Gen I CANsmart, all four circuits of the Gen II can deliver a full 10 amps of continuous power.

Each circuit can be configured to use any type of accessory. The maximum current draw for the entire unit remains 30 amps continuously.
The Gen II also has two new settings for auxiliary lighting. You can now set your additional lighting for extra prominence. And set your left and right sidelights to turn off independently when you activate your corresponding turn signal.

Characteristics:
High/Low Sync - Set your auxiliary lights to switch between a programmable high/low setting when using the factory high beam switch.
ON/OFF and dimming  - independently control two sets of lights (ON/OFF) and change the intensity level (for both day and night) directly from your original vehicle switches .
Modulate Lighting - Set additional lighting to modulate to increase your visibility to other road users.
Flash to Pass  - Want to grab someone's attention? Press your high beam switch three times and your auxiliary lights will flash quickly three times.
Turn Signal Stop - This feature stops the associated auxiliary light when you use your turn signal. This is to prevent the bright lights from making your flashing light less visible.
Auxiliary Hazard Light Feature - This feature makes your auxiliary lights flash in reverse to the rhythm of your original hazard lights, increasing visibility during roadside emergencies.
Plug & Play Horn - Quickly and easily connect high-power aftermarket horns, such as our SoundBomb™, without the use of an additional wiring kit or relay.
Strobe in combination with horn - If this function is selected, the CANsmart™ software will automatically flash your auxiliary lights when you use your horn. This feature works whether you have the original horn or the SoundBomb™ horn installed.
Deceleration Activated "Smart Brake" Technology - The CANsmart™ reads the vehicle speed in real time to activate your auxiliary brake light during deceleration before you even touch the brake. You can adjust the sensitivity and minimum speed at which the Smart Brake function is activated.
Braking Flash Pattern - The CANsmart™ offers four different flash patterns that make our super-bright auxiliary brake lights highly visible to vehicles behind you. You can set the auxiliary brake lights to flash only under hard braking, flash continuously while you brake, or flash four times quickly and then hold (California legal flash pattern).
Circuit Function Selector - The Circuit Function Selector in the CANsmart software lets you run an accessory of your choice on each of the four circuits. Click on a track icon to open the drop-down menu and select from the list of available track features.
Switched Power Source - The CANsmart™ offers a universal "accessory" option that gives you 12V power. That means any accessory you connect to this circuit will turn on and off with your ignition.
Delay Time Out - You can also set the accessories on this circuit to a delayed time out. This keeps them on for up to 30 seconds after you turn off your engine.
On Board Power - The "accessory" circuit option is ideal for powering your GPS, phone, heated gear or any other electronic device.
