CANbeam – The new digital cable for automatic control of additional headlights

CANbeam is a Swedish-made digital cable that can be seamlessly integrated into a car's automatic high beam control system. The cable is designed for use with modern CAN bus-controlled adaptive LED high beam, bi-xenon, and similar systems.

CANbeam ensures that the extra lights automatically follow the car's high beam function, which means that the extra lights are switched on and off at the same time as the car's original high beams, without you having to do anything. This solution is one of the few on the market that makes it possible to use the automatic high beam function for retrofitted extra lights and LED Light bars as well.

CANbeam meets the automotive industry's high quality requirements for retrofitted electronics, and the components meet the same high standards as the car's original equipment.

CANbeam_06 is suitable for the following car models:

Installation
CANbeam is easily installed in the engine compartment or wheel well of certain vehicles, eliminating the need for installation in the interior or through the firewall. To connect the system, the appropriate CAN cables are identified and the CANbeam connection cables are soldered to them.

Alternatively, a traditional switch can be used and connected to the brown cable. This must then be connected to 12v+.

The maximum permissible load is 13A (156W at 12v). If the load is higher, a separate reinforcement cable must be installed, otherwise the CANbeam will be damaged.
