Side bars for extra protection and a tougher look
To give the side of your vehicle just that little bit extra, a set of side bars is the perfect solution. Side bars are tubes mounted on the side of a vehicle between the front and rear wheels. This adds extra protection to your vehicle and immediately gives it a much more powerful appearance. Especially with larger vehicles such as trucks, pickups, vans, and motorhomes, you instantly see how much of a difference side bars make to the complete look of the vehicle. The side appears fuller, wider, and a lot more robust, while the side bars follow the original lines of the bodywork beautifully.
In addition, side bars serve a practical purpose during daily use. Think of turning just a bit too tight past a post, curb, or other obstacle. In those situations, the side bars often absorb the first impact, preventing the damage from hitting the bodywork directly. This helps side bars protect the sills and sides of the vehicle against minor damage that happens much quicker in daily life than many people think.

In addition to our standard side bars, we also have many versions available with integrated steps. These models are also known as running boards and feature a rubber step surface or a sturdy checker plate.

Especially when you are on the road daily for work, grabbing tools from the cargo area, or frequently needing items from the roof, a step provides a lot of extra convenience.
Moreover, steps on modern vehicles match the design of the bodywork more and more beautifully. As a result, they look much more like an original part of the vehicle instead of a separate accessory added later.
Choice of different colors and finishes
Within the assortment, side bars are available in various colors and finishes. The most popular versions are high-gloss stainless steel and matte black, but we also offer brushed stainless steel, matte silver, and a black variant with a subtle gloss level right between matte and high-gloss.
The finish largely determines the appearance of the vehicle. Black side bars often provide a modern and sporty look, while stainless steel versions emphasize a luxurious or robust appearance.
With the brushed stainless steel version and the black variant, it is also possible to paint the side bars in a desired color. In consultation, we can sometimes arrange this through the manufacturer for a small additional cost, but it is of course also possible to do this yourself.
A few of our side bars come equipped with integrated orange LED marker lights. This gives the vehicle a more striking appearance and ensures extra visibility for other road users at the same time.
Aluminum or stainless steel side bars
Our side bars are made from two different materials, namely stainless steel and aluminum. Many people automatically think that stainless steel is stronger, but in practice, it is more nuanced.
A stainless steel side bar is often about 1 millimeter thick, while aluminum versions are usually around 5 millimeters thick. Because of this, aluminum side bars can offer at least as much, and sometimes even more resistance during an impact or minor collision.
In addition, aluminum is lighter in weight. Especially for larger vehicles or extensive vehicle conversions, this can be a welcome advantage.
