Frequently asked questions about our lighting
Is your lighting road legal?
Many of our lighting products are equipped with an E-mark, which means they comply with European directives for use on public roads. However, legislation differs per type of lamp (such as spotlights versus work lights). In the product descriptions, we always state whether a lamp has the necessary certification, so you know exactly whether you can use it during the MOT inspection or on the highway.
How do I know which lighting is suitable for my vehicle?
Two factors are decisive when choosing the right lighting: the available mounting space and the electrical connection. For many popular models, we offer vehicle-specific brackets, so you can see immediately which LED bars or spotlights fit seamlessly on your bumper or roof. It is also important to check whether your vehicle has a 12V, 24V, or 30V system, although the majority of our lamps work on both systems thanks to 'multivoltage' technology.
Can I install the lighting myself or do I need to go to a garage?
Our lighting is supplied with the necessary basic materials for mounting. If you are handy with electronics and tools, you can install many lamps yourself. We also offer vehicle-specific mounting brackets that make the process a lot easier. Are you unsure about the connection to the board computer (CAN-bus) or the cabling? Then we always recommend having the installation carried out by a specialist to prevent error messages.
